The Burning Questions...
For folks eager to dive into this field, there are usually more questions than answers. I started this journey back in 2004, and I can still remember the swarm of questions buzzing in my head during those early days. The scene has changed quite a bit since then, but getting a solid grip on the ins and outs of this craft is still a bit of a puzzle. It's not because there's a shortage of info out there, but more because there's no one-size-fits-all guide to becoming a storyboard artist. People take all sorts of different routes to master this art, making it hard to lay down a set path.
So, for all the curious minds filling up my inbox, I've carved out this space to specifically help out aspiring artists who dream of becoming storyboard pros. Here, we'll break down the complexities of the profession and tackle those burning questions. I'm also hoping to bring in some pals who are rocking it in this field to share their stories and shed light on how vastly different the journey can be for each artist.
To kick off this chat about this work, let's tackle the question that keeps popping up in emails and messages:
"HOW DO I BECOME A STORYBOARD ARTIST!?
